Tailoring That Keeps Up With Her

This collection started as a joke at a trunk show in 2011. A customer's husband, tired of holding the garment bags, asked when we'd make something for him. Our founder looked him over and said, "When you can keep up." He bought three tees on the spot and wore them until they dissolved. The Men's Shirts collection is our formal apology — and, we'd argue, the best-kept secret in the house.

The centerpiece is The Consort Shirt: two-fold poplin in deep noir with a gold-faced collar stand that flashes only when the top button is undone — tailoring's version of a raised eyebrow. Buttons are fuchsia corozo, subtle at a distance, unmistakable across a dinner table. The Ivory Court Shirt plays the reverse card: pristine and conventional outside, with a hidden fuchsia placket inside that only appears when the sleeves get rolled and things get honest.

For weekends there's the Rebel Check, a brushed twill crossing fuchsia and gold over noir — plaid, but make it monarchy — and the Good Boy Polo, a piqué polo whose gold-embroidered paw at the chest tends to start conversations at the dog park, which our market research suggests is exactly where our customer's consort spends his Sunday mornings.

Cut, Cloth and Conscience

Fit is a modern tailored cut: room through the shoulder, clean taper at the waist, no billowing, no sausage-casing. Collars keep their architecture through a full day thanks to removable stays — a pair in brass ships with each shirt, engraved with a crown on one side and a paw on the other. Seams are single-needle stitched at 18 stitches per inch; split yokes follow the shoulder line so the shirt moves when you do. These are construction standards usually found at twice the price, which is not an accident but a policy.

And yes — the mission applies to the men's rail too. Ten percent of every shirt funds Helping P.E.T.S., and the Adoption Day Oxford goes further: the full margin of every unit funds one complete adoption kit (leash, collar, starter food, first vet visit) for a shelter dog going home.
